Why My Farm Boots Never Make It a Full Season
Okay so my boot got stuck on my FOOT on market morning as i was supposed to be out at the market setting up!!! and I mean it was stuck. Like the ground just wasn’t giving it back. I was already running late for market, pulling on my own leg alone in my bedroom and sounding like some type of injured animal.
They were the good brand too, the kind that’s supposed to hold up. Maybe not top tier high spender boots but they were supposed to be of a workers quality…… they made it one season. Corn, cucumbers, mud, standing at the market table all morning, sun baking, and by the end of month 6 it’s falling apart right when I need it most.
I know this is a boot-wearer wide issue not exclusive to a mama/farm girl who is used to her shoes falling apart from silly shenanigans, not everyday use. Anyway, I’m boot shopping again. If you’ve found a pair that’s actually made it more than one real season doing outside kind of work, PLEASE reach out and tell me, because at this point I’ll try anything. Once I land on the next pair I’ll come update this with what I actually got.
