Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival 2026

We are overjoyed to announce Your Neighbor’s Farmstand is going to be taking plants & other farm goodies to the Maryland Sheep in Wool Festival this year!!!!

If you’ve never experienced the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival, it’s truly something special. Held each year at the Howard County Fairgrounds, this beloved event brings together farmers, fiber artists, and families from all over to celebrate everything from sheep and shepherding to yarn, wool, and handmade goods. With hundreds of vendors, live demonstrations, and thousands of attendees, it’s one of the largest festivals of its kind in the country .

This year feels extra meaningful for us—because we’ll be there as vendors.

Johnny and I first attended back in 2014, just as visitors soaking it all in. Ever since, it’s been a tradition we look forward to each spring. When we started our business and began exploring vendor opportunities, this festival was a goal for us. Unfortunately, we were waitlisted. Then, we were accepted in January!! And we eagerly said, “Absolutely!!” Not only because we love attending, but because we also love supporting the Maryland Sheep Breeders Association and connecting with people who value farm-centered, locally rooted businesses like ours. Fingers crossed a little bit of exposure goes a long way!

You can find us May 2 & 3, 2026, back at the fairgrounds—this time on the other side of the table. We can’t wait to be part of a community that has meant so much to us over the years, and to hopefully see many of you in person.
